About the Business
T.C. Cars was established in 1986 by the current managing director Martin Smith, who was disillusioned with the companies that he had previously worked for beforehand. Through hard work, long hours and the determination to supply the best service the company went from strength to strength. Eventually T.C. Cars established itself as one of the largest and most used private hire firms within the Solihull area, even purchasing some of the companies that he had previously worked for.
In 2002 it was decided that T.C. Cars was going to lead the charge into the next generation of taxi dispatch by becoming the first company within Solihull and Birmingham areas to change from radio to computer dispatch. This brought about a huge change in the way the office worked, getting rid of the need for entire reams of paper as all bookings were now installed directly into the computer.
