Milton Keynes, BuckinghamshireI feel compelled to share my recent experience with Skyline Taxi, as it was highly disappointing and left me in a frustrating situation. Despite pre-booking a taxi through their app well in advance, my encounter with this company was far from satisfactory.
I made the reservation for a party of eight individuals, specifically requesting a vehicle that could accommodate three passengers, three large suitcases, and two pieces of hand luggage. However, when the time came for our scheduled pickup, I received a phone call from Skyline Taxi informing me that there was no available driver.
To make matters worse, the alternative solution they offered - a six-seater taxi - refused to come, claiming the driver was too tired. This lack of professionalism and their disregard for our needs was both surprising and disappointing.
What is particularly frustrating is that Skyline Taxi had almost a week's notice about our booking, which should have allowed them enough time to arrange a suitable driver and vehicle. Yet, they failed to fulfil their commitment, leaving us in a difficult situation.
Due to their unreliability, I had to scramble to find an alternative taxi service. As a result, I missed my bus and was forced to pay a significantly higher fare to get to the airport. This unexpected expense was both inconvenient and costly, which could have been avoided had Skyline Taxi fulfilled its obligations.
I strongly advise others to avoid Skyline Taxi at all costs. Their lack of trustworthiness and inability to provide reliable transportation services is a serious concern. The fact that they failed to honour a confirmed booking, despite having ample notice, is a clear indication of their unreliability and disregard for customer satisfaction.
In summary, my experience with Skyline Taxi was highly unsatisfactory. Their untrustworthy practices and lack of professionalism can result in inconvenience and unnecessary expenses. I recommend exploring other taxi services that prioritise customer satisfaction and reliability.
