About the Business
Two years ago i set out to start a taxi company in Cheltenham that focused solely on delivering great user experiences, offered something different, and didn't cost the earth. I couldn't rely on the legacy of past taxi firms as the basis for my new company, instead I challenged the conventional formula and created a new approach with customer satisfaction at the heart of the business. Born in Glasgow raised in Cheltenham, my name is Jim Hughes and I am proud to be the founder of the company Clearway Cars, a newly established Cheltenham Taxi service.
My background in management is worlds apart from that of a taxi driver, but the years of experience and knowledge gained has helped me develop a determination to deliver quality in everything I do. After 25 years in manufacturing industry I needed a change in direction, a fresh start, something new outside of my comfort zone. My ever increasing desire to start my own company finally shines through and plans to launch Clearwaycars begin.
